Dave,
Rick (shop buddy) and I have built two kayaks. We did everything in opposites jsut to see what worked best. We did his Hazen by glassing the whole thing at on time. we did my GE the other way. Glassing the deck then building the cobing and glassing it. We found that glassing the deck first then building the combing to be easier and produced a sharper crease were the combing and deck meet. However, I don't think there really is a right way or a wrong way to do this. Bot come out looking great and functional. Good luck and enjoy.
