Hi Peter,

I copied Joe's Return designs with the bows on the deck. The end sections are stripped parallel to the centerline of the boat. I also stripped the section which is around the cockpit recess parallel to the centerline and had some difficulty getting a nice joint for the sections ahead and behind the cockpit. Note that the curvature of the front section ahead of the cockpit recess leads to strips pointing inwards if you look straight down. I did the joint between the front and back section near the narrowest section of the deck and you don't notice very much at all that the strips have an angle difference. This was simplified by the bows since this section is only about one strip wide.

: Is there a good reason that the first deck strips can't be the strips down
: the centerline? It helps to eliminate a bunch of twist in the strips on
: the end of my Return.
