Woodenboat Magazine (WWW.Woodenboat.com) has an on-line index with a search engine. If I am using it correctly it tells me that issue # 71 has an article by John Burke about making Pete Culler style oars, plans and all. I made a pair of these from this article (I think it is this one) and they work great. Issue # 127 also has an oar building article by Eric Dow. Your local library might have the magazines. It is cheaper than buying plans.
