: I have picked up a 50" roll of fiberglass tape for the seams. The roll
: is 4" wide and I want to cut it in half,(to have two 2" rolls).
: What is the best method of cutting the roll without unrolling it? Jap saw?
: Razor knife? I want to avoid all the unraveled mess. This is for the seams
: to join the halfs. I'm getting close and getting excited!!!Finishing hatch
: lips over the weekend and hope to have the big joining on Memorial Day.
: Thanks as allways,
: Dave M

If you have access to a sewing machine (better yet, someone who can operate the machine as well) run two seams about 1/4" apart down the tape, lengthwise, then cut with scissors between the seams. Worked for me.
