I've been mentoring an old friend through his first yak, a S&G, long distance. Might be cheaper to send him a computer and get him on board. While discussing building methods he decided to go with S&G 'cause, "I want to paddle it in this lifetime." A hundred and sixty hours is ten intense weekends. About one winter.
And I'll bet the next one will go faster.

BTW, who's that handsome guy modeling your boat?
