I too have a beard and I just try and kid myself into thinking it is providing enough protection.
I don't believe there is an effective way to seal your respirator short of shaving. I do know that firefighters are clean shaven for that reason.
One option you can try if your real desperate is to vasoline your beard. I did that for my diving mask and it worked, however, water preasue helped with the seal. Good luck.
