well,
mine is still in the "developemental" stage. yet, i think it will work given the deck of your boat is not too curved. i'm building a greenland style so i'm good to go in that aspect.
what i intend to do, is to take a beckson 8" screw in hatch ( for my front hatch) and mount the ring section to the underside of my deck. i then plan on cutting out a circle the same size as the top or lid, and laminate the two together. then, hopefully, i'll simply screw in my hatch and it will be strong, and water tight and flush, w/ no bungies. anyway....like i said, its developemental.
