Lars, I made a quick release clamp by attaching a length of metal strapping to a Pony spring clamp. After modification, the clamp looks like a strap type oil filter wrench. I attached the strapping to the clamp jaws with screws. I used duct tape to attach about a 6" length of 4" PVC pipe to the 4" dust collecton hose. I cut slits in the end of the PVC so that the clamp can compress the PVC to the blast gate fitting. The PVC has a slight friction fit on the plastic blast gates without the clamp, but adding the clamp secures the hose. When the clamp is squeezed, the strapping opens so that you can attach/remove the hose. Too bad I don't have a picture because it is simple to make, but hard to describe.
