I plan to be there without boat. I could bring my new pink insulated garage kayak workshop that I did finish this winter, but I don't think it would float? Maybe my plans for the wood-strip Grebe and the Outer Island I will be starting can be 'origameed' into a boat shape and sealed with epoxy and duck tape.....hmmm...better just bring my digital camera to post pics of the event!

I want to thank Nick for his warning to all out of state potential boat-touchers coming to this event. As a CT resident I am a tad familiar with a few of the regulations in the CT State Department of Health where boat-touchers are scrupiously monitored.

Also, beware that if you do figure out how to legally touch wooden boats in our state, that in the event you ever lose your boat-touching license it will result in your name, finger prints, ssn, & butt imprint from a minicell foam seat impression being passed along to a national database and website directory.

The easiest method to get around the brilliance of the many CT regulatory agencies is to wear gloves....without 'touching' the wooden boats 'they' will never be able to detect the residue of epoxy and glass on your fingertips!
