lee valley sells a plastic lid for your plastic trash can with inlet/outlet conections for shop vac hoses. this is supposed to make the trash can into a cyclone. i've heard conflicting reports as to it's effectiveness.
a tin smith with some bench expierience should be able to build a true cyclone, (i have built many over the years), however it would not be cheap, unless i owed you a favor. :)
