We Need More Paddling Events like Expo98

Now that summer is finally here, is anyone interested in meeting to show off boats, talk shop, and maybe even paddle? If so, drop me an email, or respond in this thread, or both. Make sure you tell me where you live so that I can take that into consideration when deciding on a meeting place (suggestions welcome). Currently I'm thinking someplace like Alamitos Bay (Long Beach) or Huntington Harbor.
