Not to start a flame war, but... Why do you think women can't paddle? My former wife and at least 7 of our female friends are all GREAT paddlers. A properly done stroke doesn't require much upper body strength, so the male advantage there isn't much of an advantage (actually many men have poor strokes because they don't do a proper torso rotation due to using of their arm muscles). Besides women often have a lower center of gravity than men, so WE are the ones who'd probably need a more stable platform...

Just some thoughts to consider.
