: Anyone know a good source of minicell foam. I want to get a good amount of 3
: or 4 inch thick stock. It seems that there must be an industrial use for
: it other than kayak seats which would allow it to be cheeper. Any leads
: for bargin sources much appreciated. Thanks, todd

I am reposting a post I had on down this board about very cheap closed cell foam I found. It can't get any cheaper then this.

"I was in Menards yesterday and came across closed cell foam used to insulate wet and damp basements. It comes in a package of 6, of 1 1/2" x 14 1/2" x 4' for $7 something. I don't know if it would be any good for seats but I will use it for floatation in the stem and stern and sealed in fiberglass."
