: If you decide to go with this model you may find the description Putz gives
: for constrution his building forms to be a bit difficult to follow. I've
: translated his description into simple coordinate numbers that you can
: easily plot. You should be able to find the URL for these by searching the
: archives, but if not, e- mail me and I'll send you the URL.

: With Putz's plans you'll use just under 2 full sheets of plywood for making
: the forms. Rehd has taken the coordinate numbers and was able to cut all
: his froms from 1/2 sheet of plywood. Potentially a $30 savings. On a boat
: that typically costs under $200, this is a significant additional saving.

Got'em right here Paul.

Here's what the forms look like after Pauls numbers, and my trimming off excess material on the lower ends. You can see how they were arranged to cut out. In George's Book, they are all nearly 3 1/2' tall and used way too much material, that would eventually be tossed away.

If you decide to take on this mission, may I suggest using 3/4" plywood for the forms. I found it easy to build on and it takes the stress of bending stringer without any buckling or bowing problems. If you take a run over to the nearset cabinet shop, you my score of pieces small enough to be waste for them, but big enough for your forms. ??? Worth a try.

Here are the form offset URL's:
