no not the tail bone, there are two bones in your arse that are known as the sit bones. the holes end up at the bottom of the dimples in a carved seat. they should be about 1.5-2 inches in diameter. it just helps to take pressure off the bones, and onto the fleshy part that is meant to be padding. ;)
