Hi Ken

Just offhand I would say about two to three hours. Not far in distance, but first you cross the border possibly some delay there, drive south then west to about the mid-point of Whidbey Island, then board a Washington State ferry (as I recall about a forty minute ferry ride) which goes directly to downtown Port Townsend. Fort Worden is about 5 to 10 minutes west of the ferry landing by car. Good luck hope to see you there. BTW Washington State ferrys has a web site for sched and fares.
