: Hi,

: Can anyone give me the approximate amount of wood flour to add to epoxy for
: gluing ?? Just wonder if too much will weaken the final product. My tests
: seem ok, but when I put the sample under the heat gun it lost strength and
: just wonder if this is because of too much wood flour. Thanks !

Arthur,
When I did my cockpit and hatch laminations last fall I applied a light coat of plain epoxy to each surface and then added the epoxy with wood flour mix which the thickness was almost but not quite to the peanut butter consistency. I have tried to test bend the hatch laminations for failure by bending them and they seem very durable. I no longer need the hatch laminations as I now am going with flush mount hatches.
