: thank you everyone who replied!
: i'd thought i'd post a quick update. i saw the ortho dr. and he sd i tore up
: a majority on the tendons where my collar bone joins my shoulder. he said
: that my collar bone is no longer connected to either my shoulder or my
: scapula(shoulder blade). he said its just kind of "floating" out
: there. he told me to see him in two weeks when the swelling goes down.
: surgery may be a possibility but that's if my range of motion is low. he
: also said my ball and socket joint was ok but everything around it was a
: mess. he told me no hockey for five months. oh well, i didn't want to play
: roller hockey anyway. :(
: hey rehd, can you believe it? not a left handed spoon in my entire house!
: aruugh!
: btw, i will finish putting on my final coat of resin this afternoon. then its
: off to the paint booth!
: build on, and when you're in the corner grinding for the puck with a
: goon...keep your head up.

Hay Brett,

You may want to get a second opinion and you need an MRI. I know you live in Northern IN. I started with Doctors in Muncie, IN. One wanted to schedual me for an operation. I ask him if this was the less invaseing type scopeing surgery and he said no but his partner could do it. I decided right then and there that it wouldn't cost anymore to get the best shoulder sports specialist in IN. which I found in Indianapolis. He was shocked to hear that the Muncie doctor was going to operate when I hadn't had any pre-rehab. About three years ago my brother inlaw had shoulder surgery in Indianapolis and he found the best in the state at that time. He hurt his playing basket ball. I had another friend that had shoulder surgery ( back in the 70's) that was worse after the operation then before. They have come a long ways since then but still I would get the best. I wish you good luck.

John
