In Response To: To First Time Builders! (James Neely)

: Good posting James. I am on my second winter/Spring season building a stripper from zero. It's been a great experience and it's my HOBBY.
I have it set up in the attic so when I leave it for the summer months I can go back up and kick in again. I think the point here is to enjoy this thing and not get carried away. I want to have it ready for the Meet at the beach but if I dont then I'll just go up anyway and enjoy the other kayaks and meet some of the dedicated people I see on here. I see a big parallel with my other Hobby,
Golf. I go out and see these guys cursing and swearing and making themselves very unhappy because they didn't perform like the professional that they know they really are. Wake up and smell the roses. I reckon to hit a few Tiger shots during the round but for the most part it's James Joseph and all of his shortcomings. Not trying to get too "California" here (I live in NJ for crying out loud!)but I second Mr. Neely - get the full measure of enjoyment out of the building. I might not even fit into this thing when it's done!
