Hi Steve,

That is one of the most beautiful decks I have seen !! I thought too about continuing the strips all the way to the bow .... But as the strips must be glued in place (to the upper bow)to fit properly it would not be possible to remove the deck from the hull for glassing the inside. I considered alternate methods of this ... but didn't think any would work out, so I too am having a separate bow deck. the tail deck too for even more reasons. Good luck !
