Sure, you can use the 207 for everything, but the cure time will be longer. Like Stan suggested, you can use one of the other hardeners for bonding if you like. As both Byron and Stan pointed out, you do need to be careful of the metering ratios. West System makes that pretty explicit on the harder cans and in their free literature.

Relax, and enjoy the project – you’ll have a great time and do a great job.

ONE CAUTION: boat building can be addictive. Always balance building with liberal exposure to water, preferably while paddling the neat boat you built last year.
