: I started to plane a strip for my shear strip and tried to bend it to follow
: the first three forms. My strip would bend for the tip of the stemform to
: the second form fine. It looks like I need it to bend almost 4 in. in the
: next foot. When I tried this my cove broke before getting close. any
: sugestions?

I did a little of everything on some hard bends on my boat. One I settled on was clamping my strip on a 2x6 board with a metal scale on top, then making a slice down the middle cutting the strip length wise with a utility knife for the last foot on two where the hard bend was. It was easy and fast and took about 4 cuts with the knife.
