Both boats will be at the June 23rd Bluff Point "Meet at the Beach" event. I am hoping to have the Outer Island varnished "two knuckle deep" by the end of next week. I agree with your assessment of the O.I. It is a great design by Jay Babina and Eric Schade's artistry in wood is amazing. I was asked by the curator of the Connecticut River Museum, one day as I paddled by, if I would be willing to leave it to the museum in my will. I asked him if he thought I wasn't looking well that day.
