Jim,
Another source for cane and spline is "The Country Seat" in Kempton, PA - you can order by phone, mail or secure on-line. I've only ordered once, but had good service from them. You can order small quantities. See the link below, click on "Order Online" to go to the catalog, then look under "Chair Seating Supplies".
