I hear you about the wheels being a drag , you look at those Mickity Mouse, plastic lawnmower wheeled wonders in the kayaking mags and you just shake your head.
I was looking at the Home Hardware flyer and behold.. the hand carts are on for $33 with 10" x 3.5" pneumatic tires, you probably can't find the wheels that cheap even with PST plus Gouge & Screw Tax it's still not a bad deal, but I already got one.
If you really get bored you could put your snow thrower up on blocks and snag those Snow Hogs for the summer they would be great in sand ..but you couldn't get them in your hatches, but would be ok if you just wanted to get the whale to the waters edge .
I haven't had much use for a cart, but a yoke might be handy for the goat paths around some of the rivers and lakes here on the north shore of Superior . I have carried my yak with the coaming resting on my shoulders , it's not too bad except my head touches the seat and puts pressure on my neck.. which I injured Eons ago in a bar tending accident.. back when it was manditory to have open alcoholic beverages in your vehicle , some of the GM seat belts made great bottle openers, the stream didn't look that deep, and I trusted the driver ...I had my hands full when the truck came to an abrupt stop and I put a very large crack in the windshield with my head . I can't say I never spilled a drop ..looking back on it....Geeeeez!!.. I need another project before I start drilling holes in paddle shafts and blowing in them....or maybe a sewer pipe didge..float bag bagpipes..deck bungee banjo.. did you here a cat? .....see ya !!
