If you have any voids just fill with thickened epoxy, if not just put a couple coats of resin. If you need to fill a good sized void you can put in some thickened epoxy and then stretch some plastic kitchen wrap through the joint and tape in place to hold the epoxy in place.

In my newer plans sets for the North Star and Shooting Star I make the space between the upper and lower bow larger to make access to sealing easier.
