: I will be doing some kind of an end pore with in the next month also and this

: I could do it before I fasten the haul and deck together and again should

I don't know what Nick does the end pour for you'll have to ask him. He may be part of the Connecticut Navy and use his bow for ramming hostel New Yorkers.

I add small wood blocks to the internal tips of my boat stems to have a solid section to drill through for grab loops.

I don't use laminated stem peices. I fit my hull glass and trim it so it follows the shape of the stem exactly inside and out. You can mark glass to cut by dragging a pencil across the cloth. The fibers will be dislodged and indicate your cut line. I make a epoxy/wood flour fillet inside the stems and then reinforce the internal and external stems with a layer of bias cut cloth.

Then I fit a block of wood aproximately 3" long X 2" high into each stem tip. Glue in place with thickened epoxy and seal the bare wood.

I drill the holes for my grab loops 1" in from my deck top and 1" in from the stem edge.I've noticed many builders drill their holes back 2 or
