I did mine with Home Depot foam roller -- not the regular size foam roller. It is smaller, about 4 inches long, white color, and has a round dome shape end (not open end like the regular paint roller.) The roller frame is just a bent wire (also unlike the regular) and it sticks into the 1/8 inch plastic hole in the roller cover. I do not know the brand name, now , but I can check later.
It work long enough to roll the entire boat and does not soak enough epoxy to cause any concern.
If you worry about the roller soaking up too much, you can always wrap the cover in garbbage band stick it inside the freezer, before it harden. It can last long enough till the next application.
Good luck and happy paddling!

: I just started glassing the hull of my Artic Tern 14 (yesterday). I tried to
: track down 1/8" rollers (as Pygmy suggested that I use) but instead
: the smallest I could find were 3/16". Are there any serious
: consquences to this or maybe just a little too much resin soaked up into
: the roller? Should I continue the hunt for 1/8" or will 3/16"
: work just as well?
