I wasn't "really" considering building it, not as one of my first 2 kayaks, The odds of getting this fabric out of speedo without buying a lot of overpriced swimsuits looks kinda slim anyway. But for a couple weeks i've folowed this site now, and followed all the links. At the end of last week there were some links on Artic Kayaks. Was cool. My son lives about 3 hours from me. a lot of time to think when you are driving that far. After a few years of driving that route 6-8 times a month you start to distract yourself with all kinds of thoughts. Given i've been putting about 4 hours a day in on this board and related links..... a lot of the thoughts were kayak related in various ways. thoughts about composites, wood inlay designs, etc....
As i said in the post, only the "FastSkin(tm)" idea was even worth mentioning
