Spidey,
Thanks for the feedback. I'm no expert, just a old user. Your explanation was clear, concise and appreciated. I just upgraded to this HP system and what with the software bundled with the scanners, camara and printer I'm a little overwelmed by the choices. An interesting aside; this thing was sold with a "Celeron" 800mhz processor, which AOL's system info id's as a Pentium Pro. A little repackaging perhaps?

Having my service career was cut real short by eye defects, I like the large monitors (17-19") and generally set them at 800 by 600. I try to stay 20-24" away from them, so it works for me. Folks with better vision may be more comfortable with higher resolutions.

The mouse imput device came to PC's a little while before Win2.0 so I'm still adjusting to it's use. You folks have to understand that we users aren't all that flexible. I still like to use my WordStar keyboard commands when I can! But thanks for the right key tip. I'm always surprised to find a use for that button! Imagine my problems if I moved to an Apple with three mouse buttons.
Be well,
Geo. C.
