Thaanks Rehd. Ive been gone for a week, took me awhile to get down her again.
Thats along the lines of what I have in mind, a simple trapeze frame on 4' centers, with a plywood back and plastic sides and front. I'm sure there is enough for several frames. The trick will be to anchor it to the concrete such that it wont rot or blow away. It's against the S side of the shop, and prevailing wind is NW so hopefully it'll tend to stay put.

And I think I'll have 4 or 5# of the square nails. The buggers hold pretty well and I'm burning the pcs that I cant denail. They are about 2-1/2" long. Anybody who wants them, let me know. Trade something?

: Hi Don

: Well, if you are trying to build a drying shed, you have two choices......or
: rather 3. You can give up! You can pull the nails, very carefully, trying
: not to damage them too much and then rip the 2 x 4's into 2 x 2's ( 300
: linear ') and add a couple of sheets of cheap plywood here and there and
: make a solid, totally enclosed shed. Or, you could pull the nails.......
: Oh, I said that. Well, just add enough plywood for the back and ends and
: frame panels for the top, and front walls ( southern exposure ) and use 6
: mil. plastic to cover them and make a solar dryer. Someone just recently
: had a few pictures and a website on here showing just that. Oh, the reason
: you save the nails is there are folks out there that collect them and
: would give their eye-teeth for a bunch of them. Maybe even some $$$'s. I'd
: shoot for the solar shed as you would have to add some sort of drying
: system to the other. Too many $$$'s if you are on a budget. Let us know
: which you choose. Hope that helps
