White and Red Oak

Mark, I've used both white and red Oak with System Three epoxy. My canoe is now 6 years old and my kayak 1 year old. There are no apparent problems with the laminations or the glass pulling loose. I tried the vinegar to clean up epoxy, it takes quite a bit to clean up a little epoxy, my guess is, there isn't enough acid in the wood to effect the epoxy.
