mike, it is not a high as a quality as you may find at a whitewater kayak store, but is closed cell none the less. they have different grades of foam at the store as well, so look carefully. the owner gets it from a factory nearby that produces the stuff. that's what the hired help told me anyway. the store is a close-out store. a hillbilly version of "big lots". the store is called "richard's of toto" (indiana) fire up map quest and get driving directions. i'd also call before i road trip, the hillbilly's use the stuff to insulate their trailers, but he usuallly has got mamoth stacks of the stuff sitting outside. here is the info you requested:
richard's of toto
3060 south range road
north judson indiana
219-772-5923
hope this helps. someone asked if the stuff is blue bm. i'm not going to pretend to know what that means. so i'll say....maybe?
hitman
p.s. i do not intend to offend anyone who is currently living in a trailer, nor did i intend to be politically incorrect with the useage of "hillbilly" any complaints about my syntax can be directed to your local a.c.l.u. office.
