In Response To: Question about trucking a sailboat (Russ)

Just a thought here. Actually, a question or two.

The sailboat is in CA, and presumably near water -- and you want to get it to the water off of New Hampshire. So, what would be the possibility of shipping it by water. It sounds like the sailboat is going to be oversize for trucking, so would it be easier to load on a freighter? For that matter, what about loading it on a rail flatcar and shipping it by rail?
