: Can anyone suggest the least expensive source, for cedar in the midwest. We

Here in Indiana I scouted five lumberyards, three locals and two natioals. The locals were very expensive and the selection wasn't very good. Menards had huge piles of cedar that I went through sorting for the best. I got them on sale also. I picked up an 8'long by 12" wide pine board at Loews in the shelving area. Most were terrible but I found one that I got a lot of good strips out of. Total cost for more then I need was $42.
