I've never seen nor heard of one, except perhaps as a plug for a mold. Even then, I don't think that's the way people go for low volume designs such as current slalom boats. I don't see why you couldn't do it if you had the rights to a design (or were unscrupulous enough to poach someone else's), but you'd probably have problems with the very fine ends, and of course with weight compared to a racing slalom layup. I do remember seeing pictures somewhere on the net of a strip squirt boat, so it should be possible to construct one. For a slalom boat you want to carry minimal weight near the ends to improve quickness, and that might be a problem with strip construction.

It sure would be spectacular to see it show up at a local race though.
