Great Auk cockpit recess

. Is the recess long enough for the larger Auk cockpit?
The deck has a high peak in front of the cockpit, but is nearly flat behind and a recess there wouldn't serve any purpose (except aesthetic?). I drew a recess starting 6" ahead of the cockpit (I used the GA plan), and tapered it to nothing before it started to curve to the back. So it is only recessed in front.
