The link is to pictures of the shed, inside and out.

The drill is UV darkens wood and water bleaches it. My home has German "e-glass" windows. Some kind of electrostatic coating that's supposed to prevent UV problems. But flip up a rug and there's a noticable diffence in the color of the wood protected by the rug.

What I would do is get a poly tarp (my wife calls them "those blue things") cut for a wood pile. I've found them in 18' by 4'. Perfect size for protecting your boat and easy to roll up when it gets warm enough to work. Picked a good winter to test your shed. How much snow have you supported?
