In Response To: Lil'dubber plans and Pictures *Pic* (Russ)

Hi Russ, Here goes my third message to you. I have attempted it twice before
but was unsuccessful. I'm not new to PC's and the WEB because I have worked with
them for a few years now (as a matter of fact, I'm still at work right now), but I'm new to BBS's this one is the first one I have posted a message in, and it has been a great experience. However, I seem to have screwd up somewhere, because I do not see them listed here.

Thanks for the info and pics of Lil' Bubber. The kids loved the pictures.
It is the neatest little boat and looks very stable too. It is hard to
believe it only takes one 4X8 sheet to build it. Hell.. at ten dollars a
pop, I could crank out a fleet of them without having to take out a mortgage. Did I read that correctly? it has a centerboard? does it take a sail?
Thanks for you help.
Jon

: Hi ya Jon & Roger,
: Sorry I didn't post more info earlier. When I last posted the plans were not
: immediately available. In the wooden boat library under two piles of saw
: dust :) So I had to set to my New Years clean up a bit earlier then
: planned (I had actually planned on 2 or 3 years from now)

: I asked my wife if she had seen the Lil dubber plans. She said she hadn't but
: even if she had she wasn't sure that with 4 boats unfinished in the
: basement and two in the back yard that she was would tell me. Says she
: thought handing them to me might be an act of codependency. Is there a 12
: step program for boat builders. :0 :)

: All I can think of is: 1) acquire plans
: 2) acquire wood.
: 3) Rip wood
: 4) make saw dust
: 5) Glue up etc........

: But I digress

: In any case I found the plans: The designer's name is Peter Hunt. He is part
: naval engineer, part marine surveyor part Yankee inventor and probably the
: only person ever to publish the words Cheese doodle shark and florispoole
: in a single sentence. So be prepared to be entertained.

: When I bought them he was selling his plans for 15 bucks.
: His address is The Shed For Sail Studio
: P.O. Box 135
: Norton MA 02766

: Don't mind the fuzzing on the faces in the picture. I didn't get permission
: from the individuals to plaster their mugs on the web.

: Hope it helps

: Happy new year
