Russ - This canoe is for my wife, and I've tried to talk her out of the high ends, but that is what she wants. She will be using the canoe for short day outings and is aware of the possible wind affects (or effects). The only thing I'm going to do to the canoe is above the normal sheer line. Hopefully it will work out okay.
