Dale Frolander made some neat looking "wood pipe" for bow and stern lines on his Triple.

I didn't see any photos on his homepage, but I'm sure he has some.

: I am wondering how you make your sanding fairing boards. I would guess long
: and flexible, say 1/4 inch plywood with handles? I also want to put an ash
: doughnut type hole in the stern and bow for ropes by drilling out the
: strips with 2" dia holes and slipping the doughnuts them in. Then
: mixing sawdust and epoxy into a paste and making a large packed radius
: locking them in and also reinforcing the bow and stern at the same time.
: Does that make any sense? I would do this before I strip the deck.
