i know we are probably taking part in a type of kayak heresy by dicussing this;but, what do you think about utilizing the fiberglass weave that roofers use as a base for a tar roof? it looks about the same, maybe a little tighter. its either that or i'm going to use the drywall tape method, i can't use the fiberglass mat that i purchased, its way too heavy. let me know what you think....
