Steve,
I was in the store over the holiday. They have a number of reasonably priced models of skin kayaks. pre-made boxed. I am sure they
would sell and send one to ya that could be made with your class. Some of them were real accurate and real pretty ranged from about 12 inches on up to about 40
inches in LOA
