Thanks for the offer Lisa, but I'm out in California. I'm sure I can find some sources out here.

Monterey Bay Kayaks in Monterey used to have a couple of different sizes around the shop, but I don't know if they ever successfully used them on kayaks for anyting but curiousity.

I had forgotten though that I have seen one of them in use. Jeff Schrock, the owner of MBK, rode the raft on my Grand Canyon trip 5 years ago (he's a great sea kayaker, but not a whitewater paddler) and brought along a parafoil. I think it was a single line version. Somewhere around here I have some wonderful pictures of an 18 foot Sotar being towed down the Canyon with that kite. He didn't try it in any of the drops though.

. Where are you located geographically? I'd be more than happy to haul out the kites and demo all the different types for anyone in the Connecticut area.
