Rob Macks can correct me, but I suspect his North Star is based on this design. It is a nice boat.

BTW, people wanting to build the boat I posted would probably be well served purchasing Rob's instructions.

: ft shorter and 3.25" wider, a very fine kayak , Wolfgang Bricnk based
: his book "The Aleutian Kayak" on this boat. For its width it is
: stable especially when the paddler and gear weighs 180 lbs.
