I would like to hear some of your estimates of how thick the thinnest spot on your finished boat is. In Nicks book he mentions the proper response to sanding through. If I remember right there is cursing, crying and repairing involved.

Fortunately I don't think I have any spots that are that close but I could see getting down to 1/8" thickness in a few spots.
