I use it exclusively on my 33 foot yawl (just too much teak to keep up with standard varnish). The big advantage of Cetol is it stands up to UV much better than varnish. You need three coats minimum, then 1 coat a year or every other year. The big disadvantage (to some people) is the color. It has a slight orangish cast. Some people like the result, others hate it. I do not know how it works on fiberglass but know it is next to impossible to get off fiberglass decks where you do not want it!
