Watch out for fading

From my experience, epoxy discoloration can be a common problem with the padouk. You can sand it to get the epoxy off and bring the color back and then seal it with shellac to keep the epoxy from getting on it, but you will face another problem. Padouk in the sun is going to fade out to a dull brownish-orange. Unless someone has come up with a way that I have not heard of, this is an almost inevitable fate. Good luck!
