Hi All,
I feel the same as all of you do posting here. There is something special about this site and building a strip boat. I feel that everything I have done in my life has consolidated and condensed into building a strip boat. Maybe I need to get a life,,,,Well,, maybe this is it. Often times I find myself reading a post about an idea on this board and staring off into space thinking about it. I was just doing that with the earlier post about the foot pump. We can all build a beautiful boat wheather we have great skills or are just learning. We can become artists and inventional thinkers with this special hobby. I posted some ideas here before I ever started my kayak that I now know were really dumb, but no one every criticized or belittled me and everyone here has been helpful. And who knows when an idea from a new person will really be useful to our hobby. I would urge everyone to post and ask questions or put out ideas. My thanks to Nick Schade for this board.
