The Inner ID is about 5/8" and the pin is stainless steel. These are very small and next time I would use the larger size. The larger one has an ID of aprox. 1 1/4". When I mounted mine I drilled out hardwood blocks and beded the whole thing in epoxy from the underside. I think this was overkill and I was more concerned from knocking them loose from the inside than anything.
